AAWE Conferences
August 12 - 14, 2012 The 3rd American Association for Wind Engineering Workshop (3AAWE) is the third in a series of workshops that are held approximately every 18 months by the American Association for Wind Engineering. This Workshop will be held at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis on August 12th to 14th, 2012. There will be an evening ice breaker on Sunday 12th August followed by a full day of presentations on Monday 13th August, and the majority of Tuesday 14th August. The Workshop will conclude in the afternoon of Tuesday 14th August. 14 May 2012: Registration opens The resort is at a very short distance from the Kennedy Compound, Kennedy Museum and the historic waterfront district. Also, it is just steps away from Main street shops, boutiques and restaurants. Some of Cape Cod's finest beaches are situated only minutes from the resort. The resort is centrally located and only 90 minutes from Boston's Logan International Airport. The 3AAWE workshop is an excellent opportunity for interaction between engineers, students, scientists, architects, planners and practitioners in the various fields of wind engineering and related disciplines. Members and non-members of the Workshop website. Students should use this informal setting to present their research and receive feedback from attendees. Those interested in presenting at 3AAWE are invited to submit an abstract of 150 words to one page (by July 6th in PDF format).
